SALES OPERATIONS ASSISTANT

JOB OVERVIEW

The Beta-Calco Sales Operations Assistant will act as a factory-based liaison to the Director of Sales and the outside regional sales management team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve as the lead coordinator for factory visits, managing all aspects of the event, including accommodations, transportation, entertainment, and general factory preparedness.
  • Offer support to the Customer Service and Quotation departments when necessary.
  • Work closely with marketing to organize and execute large-scale trade show events.
  • Coordinate with the regional sales manager(s) to facilitate the needs for successful regional trade shows.
  • Collaborate with the production team to manage sample allocation for Regional Sales Managers and the agency network, maintaining accurate tracking of agent samples.
  • Work with the New Product Development (NPD) team and marketing to facilitate the rollout of samples to the agency network.
  • Work with the NPD team and marketing to coordinate the launch and presentation of new products to the RSM team.
  • Partner with the Regional Sales Management team to follow up on quotations and input findings into the CRM system.
  • Assist the Director of Sales by gathering data for the Business Analytics department as required.
  • Gather and organize client contact information for marketing purposes.
  • Take on a variety of projects aimed at advancing Beta-Calco’s annual sales goals and improving the efficiency of the sales department.

Skills and Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Understand the internal structure of the company, as collaborating with various departments will be required.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Google Suite (e.g., Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides).
  • Good written and verbal English skills.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Ability to travel internationally, including overnight stays.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Strong self-motivation and communication skills.

Physical Demand and Abilities

  • Ability to move and lift boxes up to 30 lbs.
  • Ability to climb short ladders and use hand tools to assemble trade show booths.
  • Comfortable in factory and non-factory environments and interacting directly with customers.
